You might still be digesting our Oktoberfest lunch, but December is a busy month, so we want you to reserve the date for our next DAHEIM already!
Come back to your favourite pie shop for our Christmas treats and skiing hut favourites: Cheesy spätzle (alpine egg noodles) with pears, truffled chestnut soup, venison goulash with grapes and our festive duck breast with red apple cabbage and homemade potato dumplings just to name a few.
For all you sweet tooths we have dug out our grannies’ recipe books and will homebaked stollen and strudel, spicy fruit and walnut bread, the finest rumkugeln and gingerbread.
And because you couldn’t possibly eat all that in only a few hours, we will set up a little Christmas market, so you can take all our tasty bakery goods with you and pretend you made them yourself! Yay! Even better… we will have some beautiful Christmas wreaths and hand painted tree ornaments for sale too. (Luckily we have lots of creative friends so I didn’t have to make these all as well).
We are very excited about this festive DAHEIM and hope you will pop by, sing to our records, eat our food, Christmas shop and have a few mugs of ‘free’ Glühwein with us.
Oh, and before I forget… Christmas jumper mandatory!
